Homes Built/Repaired
We held a two day clinic for women in honor of Mother’s Day. We were able to serve 88 women on May 4th and 5th 2024. Each woman received a checkup, female exam, mammogram, prescriptions and an ultrasound! It was a huge success as we served women with medical needs that wouldn’t have had the chance to receive this care otherwise. A huge thank you to the Sisters of Charity for the grant that we received that enabled us to have the necessary equipment and funds to provide this care. Also thank you to Belmopan Medical Imaging Clinic and Our Community Pharmacy and all of the volunteers who helped make this day a huge success. In Matthew 7:24-27, Jesus states that those who hear His words AND do them are wise builders. They have built their homes on rock-solid foundations. The winds howl, the rains come – even a flood comes – but the house stands firm. Those who hear His words, but fail to live by them are foolish builders.
San Miguel Arcangel Missions is a non-profit organization that focuses on the development needs of impoverished rural communities in Central America. Our goal is to help break the cycle of poverty and to bring hope for a better future for families in developing countries.
Our mission begins with immersion trips to provide awareness of the physical, educational, and financial needs of the poor and disenfranchised in those developing countries.
We will focus our attention on long term projects such as hosting clinics to provide medical, dental, and optical care;
..providing student sponsorships, hosting educational and vocational training, as well as, providing textbooks, computers and other educational materials;
..and helping with construction and renovation projects of housing and other facilities.
